Joe Parker has been in the insurance business for over 40 years. He is a breeder of thoroughbred horses at his Peach Tree Farm in the Sanger area of the San Joaquin Valley. Along with the horse operation, he has been involved in farming since childhood. In addition to Peach Tree Farm, he maintains mares in Kentucky and enjoys breeding, raising and selling weanlings and yearlings.
Joe started out in the insurance business after graduating from Fresno University with a BS in Business Administration. A short while later, he began working with Equine Insurance, and established Joe Parker Insurance that eventually would became Parker General.
His interests vary from participating in community organizations, to serving on the board of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association and California Thoroughbred Sales as President. Joe enjoys riding, horse racing, farming and spending time with his family. He takes great pride in meeting the needs of his clients on a daily basis.
Jo Fidalgo currently heads Parker Equine Insurance as the Office Director. With an impressive career spanning over thirty years, Jo brings a wealth of expertise in both the equine industry and the insurance sector. Her profound understanding of the unique intricacies of the equine world, coupled with her extensive knowledge of insurance practices, positions her as an invaluable asset to our team. Throughout her career, Jo has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing top-notch service and tailored insurance solutions to clients, making her the ideal leader to steer our office to new heights. Cheri Hubbert is the newest addition to Parker Equine Insurance. Cheri is a seasoned insurance expert with an impressive track record of over 16 years in the industry. Cheri has been a horse owner for over 25 years and enjoys exploring the local trails on her Rocky Mountain Mare “Oopsie Daisy” and her Tennessee Walker Gelding “Raven”. As the new head of the Mortality Department, Cheri’s deep understanding of the insurance business, coupled with her personal experience as a horse owner, ensures that your equine companions are in capable hands.
Lorraine Johnson is Parker Equine’s dedicated Liability Account Representative. With 14 months of invaluable experience at Parker Equine, Lorraine brings a passion for animals and a deep understanding of the equine industry into her role. A true animal enthusiast, she takes great pride in assisting clients with their cherished animals and insurance requirements. Trisha McCallister is Parker Equine’s accomplished Licensed P&C Agent. With a degree in Animal Science complemented by certifications in Horse Ranch Management, Trisha seamlessly blends her insurance expertise with her passion for animals. Tammy Gant is Parker Equine’s seasoned Licensed P&C agent with a remarkable journey spanning back to 1985. Tammy’s expertise lies in Farm and Commercial products, including an adept handling of Workers Compensation Policies. Beyond her professional prowess, she’s an avid traveler and a devoted fan of the Dodgers.
